You ever wonder… why do women hate to see us happy?
Why don’t they like when men spend too much time on their appearance and well-being?
Why do they disturb us while we watch our favorite team or feel the need to wake us from a wonderful afternoon nap?
Wonder no more gentleman, Let’s Go 2 Work.
The answer is…
TERRITORY.
Cambridge defines territory as, “An area that an animal or person tries to control or thinks belongs to them.”
In girl world, all things sugar, spice, and nice is women’s territory. Which means on a subconscious level, they believe that they own the rights to everything concerning being human, superiority, comfort, peace, and happiness. All else which is difficult, smelly, creepy-crawly, super-human, and miserable… belongs to men.
Beauty is her department, how dare you look in the mirror more than once!
Nurturing is her business, what the fuck you mean you want full custody!
She’s supposed to be the source of all things joyful, the nerve of you to do something you like outside of the relationship!
All CAREER wives despise their husbands. Not only do the kids adore him more, but he also cooks, cleans, and manages the household far better than her. She quietly hates his guts because this motherfucker is all up in her territory.
“Walt…This territory shit you speak of is simply not true.”
Okay bet, let’s read a public list of things women have said gives them the ‘ick’…
-Uses an umbrella, at all (translation: Aww, are the natural elements affecting you?)
-Chronic disease/Always ill (translation: Why the fuck are you so human?)
-Ties shoelaces too fast (translation: So, you think you’re better than me?)
When you hear women talking about their ‘icks’ or calling us “sassy”, what they're really projecting is their feelings of territory encroachment.
So, the next time your girl is trippin’ out on you, keep in mind that it might not be because of her cycle, or her just being… “emotional.” It’s very possible that she might be pissed off at you because you had the sheer unmitigated audacity to ever set foot upon…girl world.
