The Alchemist

“The wound is the place where the light enters you.” -Rumi

Let’s Go 2 Work.

My stepson recently graduated from Navy bootcamp. After his mother and I split up we stopped speaking for a while, and then, out of nowhere, he called to ask me about my time spent in the Navy. Since then, I’ve been guiding him and telling him what to expect. Out of all the people in my circle that knows the amount of knowledge I possess, he has been the only one to utilize me. With that said, there is a reason why red pill spaces advise men not to date single moms and the main reason is this…after all I’ve poured into him from the time he was a small boy to now, it is his real father who gets all the credit for his current success. My name and contributions, on the other hand, are written in the sand in which was blown away by the wind long ago.

Online, I saw the graduation pictures of him, my ex-wife, and his father smiling and laughing together and it hurt me deeply. It’s not the fact that I wasn’t there that pained me so. When I looked at the images, all I could see is old Walt and his foolishness, his lack of information, his naivety. I am very proud of my stepson and I’m happy that I’ve made a difference in at least one person close to me, but, even so, the pain remains, nonetheless.

An alchemist has the ability to transmute base metals into gold. Put into modern times, an alchemist has the power to change, transmute, or transform things for the better.

Your mission, as is mine, is to become an alchemist and transform your pain into gold. Use every wound you’ve ever received as fuel to push you into greatness.

It is no coincidence that things have happened how it has happened at this exact moment in time. I needed to see that truth and feel that hurt so that I do not forget what I have to do and who the fuck I am. Through your troubles, as there will be many, neither must you forget who you are and where you have to go.

Cheers to all the alchemists outchea.
